Experienced and enthusiastic electrical testing engineers are required for forward thinking NICEIC approved electrical contractors.
You must be suitably qualified and have experience of testing commercial installations – ideal candidates will:- Have proven experience undertaking Fixed Wire Testing in commercial premises
- Be fully trained and qualified to City and Guilds Level 2391, 2394/95 or approved equivalent
- Display an exceptional work ethic and customer–centric attitude
- Work to the highest standards in all aspects of testing and remedial works.
- Be hard working, flexible and health and safety aware at all times
- Show great communication skills on-site and when dealing with head office

Our expectation is that our staff are hard working, flexible, and carry out quality work, leaving our customers with a positive view of their experience. Full training is offered in all our technologies and procedures.
This is a full time PAYE position with a basic salary of £35,000 with a quality related bonus payable monthly, equivalent to £5,000-£7,000 per year. The minimum expected annual income is £42,500 excluding weekend overtime, with a potential to earn above £47,000 with overtime.Share the Benefits

FAQs
All new engineers shadow an existing engineer for 2 weeks; you will be given iPad software training and taught access protocol and testing limitations on site and submitting a Minor Work and EICR certificate using our software.
Your office induction usually takes about ninety minutes – we aim to get you on the road as quickly as possible.
We reimburse travel costs for your induction. Ensure you provide copies of your receipts, which will be reimbursed in your first monthly wage.
All our engineers are provided with required test equipment including a Megger tester. Relevant PPE is supplied, with power tools as needed. You are expected to provide hand tools such as screwdrivers etc.
Technical help is available at all times to assist with any support you need.
Our work is exclusively commercial and includes Lloyds Banking Group, Cineworld, Greene King, The Department for Work and Pensions, Buzz Bingo, Costa Coffee and Network Rail among others.
Our vans are mostly combo-style 23 plate vans with manual transmission. All servicing and maintenance of the company fleet is managed by our team.
You may use the company vehicle for errands on your way to and from site, providing the locations are en-route and do not incur personal mileage which would invalidate our insurance cover.
All our vans are provided with air-conditioning.
Every van is supplied with a dedicated fuel card to cover costs, ensuring you are never out of pocket.
Expenses incurred such as parking and tolls are covered – simply upload an image of your receipt to our app ‘Xero’. Claims are normally approved within 48 hours and paid direct to your account within 7 days.
Payment is made on the 16th of each month. We are happy to help with wage advances to assist in your transition from a weekly payment.
We have a pension scheme provided by NEST; you will automatically be enrolled in this but you are free to opt out of this if you wish.
